ClearLine Communications is headed by brother and sister team Matt and Marina Johnson, and since its foundation in 1990 has grown into a highly regarded media relations and marketing business. In its first years the portfolio included multinationals such as Esso Petroleum and other clients ranging from conservation organisations to major health authorities.
Marina's yacht racing and yachting journalist experience led ClearLine to gradually build an emphasis in the marine industry. She is a member of the Yachting Journalists' Association and has completed many thousands of miles of offshore racing and cruising around the world, as well as being skipper of a number of inshore racing yachts.
Matt joined ClearLine after spending ten years on a City trading floor to help broaden the business and utilise his experience in the fields of finance, IT and sales & marketing. Matt is also an experienced racing sailor, and is married with three sons.
Catharine Esmat joined ClearLine in November 2007 after a career that to date has included a number of years in publishing, the UN, and as communications manager at BT Syntegra. An accomplished copywriter and editor, Catharine is fluent in Italian, French and Arabic.
Matt and Marina act as the principal account managers for the company and are supported by a number of complementary associates including graphic designers, photographers, printers, and administrative support staff.
